here are some highlights to the new policy:

*CVS/pharmacy does not accept expired coupons.
*Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
*Competitor coupons are not accepted at CVS/pharmacy.
*CVS/pharmacy does not accept coupons for items not carried in our stores.
*CVS/pharmacy does not currently accept coupon bar code images displayed on a smartphone, iPhone, Droid etc.
*The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.

Sale Items:

*CVS/pharmacy will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
*CVS/pharmacy will not accept percent off coupons for sale and promotional items.
*In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon, CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item.  CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.

Multiple Coupons:

*CVS/pharmacy accepts one third-party manufacturer coupon and applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
*The number of third-party manufacturer coupons used in a transaction may not exceed the number of items in the transaction.

My CVS awesome moneymaker trip!

Here is what I purchased and what coupons I used

Dulcolax Balance 8.3 oz. $9.99
I used the $5/1 coupon from the All You Magazine May issue

Schick Hydro 3  Razor 1 ct. $8.97
I used the $5/1 coupon from the 8/8 SS

Schick Hydro Shave Gel $3.99 I used the “get a shave gel free” coupon located ON the Schick razor

U by Kotex $3.50 I used the $1/1 coupon located in the 8/8SS                                                                                            I also used the $1/1 CVS coupon i recieved from scanning my CVS card at the magic coupon machine

I wound up spending two of my $5 extra care bucks previously recieved from other purchases that gave extra bucks, and I handed over a whopping .64!!!! I got back one Extra bucks ticket for $9.99 and one for $4!!!!! Not bad with only .64 out of pocket, right?? PLUS I am going to send in my reciept for the Schick hydro rebate (I will get a check for 8.97 because with rebates, they only look at the price of the item WITHOUT coupons!!!)
